Carmen & Devin
Carmen & Devin’s engagement session was such a privilege to document in such beautiful scenery! I think what makes the outdoors the best setting for these two is that Carmen mentioned in her questionnaire what she remembers as their first date is one night at the Noxubee Wildlife Refuge. They were there and it began to sprinkle, and before Carmen could even blink Devin had whipped out his phone and turned on “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” and asked Carmen to dance with him! How sweet is that?! If that doesn’t give you insight to how beautiful of a couple these two are, well I don’t know what much else will!
Carmen is a high school chemistry teacher and Devin is in the navy. They both have a passion for what they do and genuinely want to encourage one another in all that they do! As a whole, their passions include nature and sunsets!
It has always been a dream of Carmens to get engaged at Yosemite. It is one of their favorite places where they had a photo taken in the valley! So of course, Devin flew Carmen out there one weekend and proposed right there, in the valley!
Carmen said she knew there was something different about Devin the first time she met him. He had a certain confidence about him and instantly saw her for who she was.
