Lydia & Jay
Lydia & Jay met for the first time in 2011 and knew the timing wasn’t right. Fast forward to 2017 and Lydia returning home from Israel to a welcome home party, where Jay was at as well. The rest is history. Lydia says she was at a point in her life where she was running from everything after her fathers recent passing and looking for something that made sense in her life again, and Jay was just that for her. It was their time and since then its been all about love, exploring, and traveling for these two! What a blessing, and crazy how things turn out even when you least expect it.
Their first date was kayaking on the reservoir. They both love and enjoy traveling and don’t just talk about doing or going somewhere, they do it! I love that.. we never know what tomorrow brings and these two are living life to the fullest! Among their traveling, they went on a big family trip to Italy where Jay surprised Lydia by asking her to marry him in front of the Trevi fountain!
Jay is an accountant and Lydia owns a bakery called Sweet Lou’s along with teaching and archeology! I am loving learning more about these sweet clients and cant wait to do just that at their Christmas wedding!!

Lydia & Jay chose to have their engagement session done on family land and I can totally see why! This area was all so beautiful and when you add In two beautiful people, it just doesn’t get better!

Make sure to keep scrolling for some • GORGEOUS • sunset shots!!

I truly love when clients ask if we can involve their animals in the session… UM YESSS!! I love love seeing the kindness & love between clients and their animals!

You know we had to get that ring shot in there! Simply stunning ????

I especially love these photos with Lydia & Jay on this road. These two have traveled many roads together and many roads to be together now, and I feel like they have LOTS of plans to travel even more alongside each other! The symbolism of them hand in hand on this road warms my heart!

This lighting. I mean thats really all I have to say because these photos speak for themselves!
