Lauren & Dylan
If you’re one to keep up with Lindsay Ott Photography & all of the blogs we post, I’m sure your bound to remember this sweet sweet couple from their outdoor engagement session at McClain Lodge not too long ago! If not, CLICK HERE to check it out!
Long story short, these two high school sweethearts have been together over eight years and wanted to make it permanent! Dylan had the sweetest proposal all planned out at Rowan Oak, the home of William Faulkner and truly showed how kind hearted and loving he is! Keep reading to see & hear about their gorgeous wedding in the chapel at McClain Lodge!!
Wedding Day
Lauren & Dylan originally had planned for the ceremony to be held outdoors at McClain Lodge. But due to weather circumstances, it had to be moved inside the chapel, which was GORGEOUS might I add! Despite the change of venue, Lauren & Dylan didn’t let that get them down! I do believe I heard them say a couple of times, I mean at the end of the day we will still be married either way! Their spirit and love for each other and life is infectious and uplifting!
They had beautiful drapes of greenery and candles lit throughout the chapel, along with gorgeous wooden signs! Bethany Sigrest with Oak: A Southern Tradition did it again! I think she could really make anywhere & anything look so so good! It was a small intimate wedding party with each Lauren & Dylan having a bridesmaid and groomsmen, along with a junior bridesmaid and junior groomsmen. It all turned out beautiful and like they said, at the end of the day they were married!
Check out the STUNNING details of these shoes!! SO PERFECT!
These B&W photos of Lauren, her sister, & mama are so sweet and will be memories to last a lifetime!
These two weren’t letting anything rain on their day! But for real, these are so sweet pictures and I loved the clear umbrella!
Love love all of the signs & sayings

Lauren & Dylan each added soil to a tree as a sign of their unity! Such a sweet idea and not something you see done a lot!

Reception
After the ceremony the reception was held in the lodge at McClain. Bethany with Oak: A Southern Experience had everything decorated so beautifully! Lauren & Dylan’s first dance was to Millionaire by Chris Stapleton- LOVE this song! They left their reception surrounded by family and friends with sparklers! Keep scrolling to see!
Both Lauren & Dylan’s grooms cake were done by Church Street Cakery in Newton and were both stunning!

The Wooten’s
Lauren & Dylan live in Meridian where Lauren is a registered nurse and Dylan works in wildlife management!
I hope Lauren & Dylan enjoyed their intimate Chapel wedding as much as I know I did! It was a joy to work alongside such great people and to serve you both! Thank you for allowing me to be apart of your big day! #weddingthewootens
