Meet Kelsey & Will
Kelsey and Will first met in Junior College after discovering their common interest in livestock and nature. They both had grown up in farming families and once Kelsey saw what a southern gentlemen Will was, she was hooked. It all started in their Plant and Soils class and what better way for love to begin to grow? The story goes Will asked Kelsey for her number for some “homework help”. However he never actually asked anything about school! Kelsey and Will both enjoy raising and showing cattle, along with their favorite dinner dates involving Mexican or maybe some McAlisters! They strive to always talk about things before becoming upset with one another and never go to sleep angry.
The Proposal
After dating two and a half years, Will decided to pop the question! Will asked Kelsey to go out on a “nice date” with him, one where she would have to actually get dressed up and put her makeup on he reminded her. He even gave her the day off to relax and get ready. Even with all of these little stipulations Kelsey still was clueless as to what was about to happen! Her sweet southern gentlemen was going to ask her to be his wife!
Wedding Day
Kelsey and Will definitely captured the western elegance they were aiming for. From the gorgeous countryside scenery to the pastel bridesmaid dresses Kelsey picked, it was all picture perfect. The ceremony was held at Will’s families Cattle Company in Newton. Kelseys ivory satin dress was timeless and perfect for their special day. Wedding planning and coordinating, along with floral designs were all done by Oak: A Southern Experience and were nothing less than stellar. I know it will be a day Kelsey and Will will never forget as they soak up being married!

Kelsey was surrounded by all of her closest friends on wedding day, such a sweet memory she will always cherish!
I mean look at that dress.. absolutely stunning!

Even Will cleaned up pretty nice! Here he is getting ready for the first look with his bride, such a special time that makes your wedding day so much smoother!
The bride and groom giving one another letters on their wedding day is one of my favorite things! It makes an already intimate first look even better!
Another perk of that first look with your soon to be spouse is the GREAT photos you get of some one on one time with each other that will time and time again bring you back to this special day!
I wonder what was so funny?(: you can tell they are all having a great time!
Kelsey and Will’s choice to have their ceremony on family land makes it all the more special. Such a gorgeous shot for an outdoor wedding.

Reception
In Kelsey and Will spirit, the newly happy married couple danced their first dance to I Cross my Heart by George Strait as their guests from near and far watched their love beaming! The couple had a DJ that continued on the music for the night, I’m sure getting everyone on the dance floor. Kelsey and Will made sure to include their friends and family from Idaho who weren’t able to attend their Mississippi reception by hosting a reception in Idaho at a later date! I know that was an exciting time to get to relive the excitement all over again! Although they weren’t concerned with what time everyone had to leave the reception, their leave included sparklers as they ran down their long line of guests, which makes for some great photos!
After a night filled with love and laughter, Kelsey and Will made their leave while their guests had sparklers lit down a long line!
