Outdoor December Wedding | Elizabeth + Bradley | McClain Lodge | Jackson, Ms. Elizabeth + Bradley commit to love for life in an outdoor December wedding at McClain Lodge

Elizabeth + Bradley

Elizabeth and Bradley’s relationship is full of fun and interesting facts and stories! To start, they first met when Elizabeth was close to graduating from college. They met on a blind date held by a social committee at the school, that night at “Queso Quest” is where it all started. From there they began to see each other intentionally  and their very first planned date was hiking up Sugar Loaf Mountain in Arkansas where they picnicked once they got to the top – all Bradleys surprise for Elizabeth (: They both love animals, enjoy hiking. and eating all the sushi they can get their hands on! Despite most of their relationship being long distance, they made it work and decided to commit to love one another for life!

Wedding Day

Elizabeth and Bradley’s outdoor December wedding didn’t start out the way he had hoped but it sure did end up being perfect! They were to get married on December 15, 2018 at 3 pm outdoors at McClain Lodge. It had been raining the night before and some even that morning. After some discussion as to whether it would still be okay to hold the ceremony outdoors, we did it!! Needless to say the rain didn’t “rain on their parade”. It was an elegant venue decorated by none other than Bethany, with The OAK: A Southern Experience. She put her magic touch on all floral designs and decorations. The ceremony was adorned in branches and vines of greenery, along with many sizes of candles that truly made it breathtaking. You don’t have to take it from me though, keep scrolling to see(:

Dainty yet so perfect!

Bethany with The OAK did an outstanding job on Elizabeth’s bouquet!

So many loved ones came to celebrate Elizabeth and Bradley’s committment to one another.

Such a good looking wedding party. Their baby blue bridesmaid dresses were a beautiful color by Elizabeth’s white dress.

Reception

The reception was held indoors at McClain Lodge in the dining hall where lots of yummy food, drinks, and even a hot chocolate bar to warm guests up were available. Cakes by Iris did a wonderful job on the the Naked wedding cake you’ll see pictured below. Their were lots of special detail made to the reception included but not limited to a loving memory table as you entered, a table with photos of Elizabeth and Bradley throughout their relationship, and even the grooms table had some fun Star Wars themed nut crackers! The Gordons and all of their family and wedding guests danced the evening away as Zach Bridges played and sang!

Mr. and Mrs. Bradley Gordon

Elizabeth and Bradley are now living in Little Rock, Arkansas, where Bradley is in law school and Elizabeth soon after getting married, began a new job with her Biology degree. They still enjoy going on hikes together, visiting the zoo as much and as often as possible, and eating all of the sushi they can! I wish y’all the best and thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day!♡
