Happy Friday!! With Valentine’s Day coming up this weekend, what better way to kick off the holiday with a wedding day blog post, featuring Lauren and Kenny.
The day started off rainy, with the sun attempting to peek out at times, but their love continued to shine right on through. When Lauren and Kenny got engaged, he drove her out to her best friend’s lake house, and he proposed on the pier with a bouquet of sunflowers, which are her favorite. Because they dream of living on the water one day, it was the perfect way to start their journey together. And even better, they even had their wedding reception at a venue called The Lake House. It’s just meant to be. 🙂

One of my favorite parts of the wedding day to photograph: The First Look.
Kenny is a football coach, and Lauren ministers to youth / kids. Lovely couple.
Their personalities compliment each other well. They are a beautiful picture of marriage with the way they live their lives for the Lord. 
They enjoy having deep conversations about life, and Kenny always lightens the mood with jokes. 
The 7 junior bridesmaids (and 7 junior groomsmen) were so well-mannered, and the entire wedding party was so easy to work with. 
The Wedding Coordinator, Paige, prepared, organized, and directed the large wedding party, which makes my job easier AND kept us on the wedding day timeline. 
Broadmoor Baptist Church was full of family and friends celebrating the union of Lauren and Kenny, and that celebration continued over to The Lake House after the ceremony. 
Chocolate milk was served to guests at the reception – a really fun and different ‘touch’ to the day! 
Raphael Semmes Band played music outside as the bride and groom exited the reception with bright and fun-colored streamers!
