Oxford, Mississippi Engagement Session

Just over a year ago, Lauren met Jim, her “knight in shining armor in a lab coat,” on a blind date in Fondren. One of her dear friends had been trying to convince her to meet this Louisiana boy for a while, and after several days of convincing, Lauren agreed to meet him. She immediately spotted him and his blue eyes in a restaurant, and that first hug gave her the “tingles.” After sitting and talking with each other that night, Jim took Lauren home from their date, and she knew this was it. In Lauren’s own words, “Who would have thought that one blind date could turn into a forever love story?!”
I recently had the privilege of documenting Lauren and Jim’s love during their engagement session. Oxford is very near and dear to their hearts, so they chose to do their engagement session on and around the Ole Miss campus. The colorful Spring flowers were very much in bloom, and we all had a blast taking photos. This couple is so much fun to be around, and their chemistry is evident – so perfect for one another.
