Friends – meet my lovely couple, Sara & Spencer. They are THE sweetest couple & their love for each other just radiates all around them. Their smiles are contagious & I had such a blast photographing their dreamy MS moss tree engagement session a few weeks ago! I’m excited to share some of my favorites with you below! I just love their story….when Sara and Spencer first met in college, Sara went on & on about how much she disliked Arkansas. Spencer kept asking her more questions about it & she answered them all in detail. At the end of their conversation, he told her that he was FROM Arkansas (& she had no idea)!! haha! Of course, this sparked interest in each other & the rest is history! They’ve been dating since 2020!
Their first ‘date’ was at a ‘book club’ over zoom during COVID where they met for over 8 hours!
The story of their proposal: They went to South Carolina for spring break and Spencer told her they were going to church. Instead of church, they ended up at a park…he called it ‘nature’s sanctuary’. They got a row boat at the same place thats in The Notebook (so romantic!!) and it was there that he proposed!
Sara’s favorite memory of when they first started dating was when she dared him to eat pet food snails and they made them together, seasoned them & he really ate them!!
In their spare time, they LOVE spending time in nature and visiting National Parks….together they’ve been to 16 national parks together & they always purchase a hat from each place!
They also love watching shows together with lots of snacks, going to new coffee places & talking about church, history & books!
Their favorite spot to grab grub together is PJs Coffee…they love their granitas!
Spencer loves the Arkansas Razorbacks, New Orleans Saints, Manchester City Football Club, & Memphis Grizzlies while Sara likes the KC Chiefs!
I can’t wait to document their love story next year! I have no doubt that their wedding will be as beautiful as they are!
