Sarah + John
‘The South’ Mississippi Wedding
Sarah and John’s beautiful wedding day began at The South Warehouse, where this sweet couple said ‘I do’ and made a forever promise to love one another. Their wedding day was spectacular in many ways, and at times, we even forgot how ICE COLD it was outside. Nonetheless, everyone in the wedding party braved the cold and ran outside for photos in the perfect, natural light.
Thank you a million times over for allowing me to be a part of such a special day. I wish you true love and happiness as you endure this amazing journey we call life together.
Much love and appreciation,
Lindsay

Something ‘borrowed’ was this gorgeous gold ring covered with pearls, which was her mother’s. Also, her father tucked away this silver sixpence in her left shoe as a traditional sign of good luck, wishing her prosperity, love, and happiness in her marriage.
Sarah’s Kate Spade sneakers were silver and shiny – such a perfect wedding detail.
One of the many Mardi Gras themes of the night – the bride’s garter in purple, gold, and green.
“First Look” fun…in the freezing cold weather!
BEAUTIFUL bouquet by the one-and-only Wendy Putt at Fresh Cut. You out-did yourself, again. No surprise there! 😉
The girls had plum bridesmaid dresses, and their bouquets had lovely pops of color, which made for some fabulous photos.
The guys all had matching socks, and the groom wore plum shoelaces, which was their wedding color scheme.
Mardi Gras themes were spread throughout the reception, including fun-colored beads for the guests.
Can I just say a big THANK YOU to Meredith Akers at Stella & Co. for getting these heavenly cookie straws from Mississippi Cheese Straw Factory as wedding favors. DELISH.
The couple didn’t forget about their 4-legged fur babies, and they provided guests with little dog treats in honor of their two pups.
Since the couple had a winter wedding, they provided their family and friends with a coffee bar, complete with white crystal rock candy. 😉
Cakes by Iris did an amazing job on the wedding cakes, and as you can see below, the groom’s cake was Green Lantern-inspired.
We just love our clients. 🙂 They indulge us all day by letting us photograph every aspect of their wedding, and they even agree to take a photo with us at the end of the night!
