How Haley & Todd Met in Ridgeland, Mississippi
Haley and Todd first met on October 15th at a young adult worship night called The Table in Ridgeland, MS, just outside Jackson, Mississippi.
After the service, they noticed each other from across the room—both asking friends the same question: “Who is that?”
But Haley didn’t wait long.
She confidently walked up to Todd and said,
“Hi, I’m Haley—I don’t think we’ve met.”
That moment was the very beginning of something incredibly special.
Their First Date in Clinton, Mississippi
For their first date, Todd planned a thoughtful evening that highlighted some of the most charming spots near Clinton, Mississippi.
They started with dinner at Saltine, then drove through Clinton, MS and the Mississippi College campus. The night ended under the stars at Choctaw Trails—a peaceful & romantic location!
It was simple, intentional, and deeply meaningful—just like their relationship.
A Romantic Proposal Near Jackson, Mississippi
Todd’s proposal brought their story full circle.
He told Haley they were heading to a “nice dinner,” but instead brought her back to Choctaw Trails near Jackson, MS—a place already filled with memories from their early days.
There, he had arranged roses and a Bible engraved with her new name, creating a moment centered on faith and their future together. Todd got down on one knee—and Haley said yes.
Life Together in the Jackson, Mississippi Area
Haley and Todd’s relationship is built on shared values and pure thankfulness & joy. A few things they love spending their time doing are:

Haley serves full-time as a Kidz Minister at a church in Ridgeland, Mississippi, while Todd is actively involved in ministry and preparing to graduate from law school near Clinton, MS.
Together, they are passionate about sharing the gospel throughout the Jackson, Mississippi area—living out their faith in both word and action.
